Doty, Drakopoulos, and Kalogeropoulos Families Genealogy

This website is designed to report my results of genealogical research into my ancestry, and to honor my Father and Mother. My Father’s surname is Doty, and his family is from Wayne County, Ohio. My Mother's surname is Callas, and her family is from Jasper County, Missouri, but originally from the Peloponnese in Greece.

When my Mother, Helen Elaine Callas, was living in Rittman, in Wayne County, Ohio, in the early 1950s, she met and married my Father, Donald Louis Doty. My Mother’s surname is Callas, which is shortened from Kalogeropoulos (also spelled Calogeropoulos). Her parents were originally from Greece; they emigrated from the Peloponnese to the United States in the 1906-1910s, and eventually lived in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri, and later in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.  My father's family has a long and proud history in Wayne County, Ohio. My father is the son of Fred Louis Doty and May Helen Whittier.

Similar to most genealogy pages, this is a work in progress, because research is always ongoing.  This website was in Google Pages, but since Google pages was redesigned to Google Sites, I moved the webpage here to Webs.
